Apr 24, 2012 First concrete pouring of Radisson Blu Hotel at Hulhumalé was marked today in a ceremony held on site. The 5-star hotel will have 250 top class luxurious rooms (500 beds), public spaces, food and beverage facilities, and recreational amenities.

World Hemophilia Day

Apr 17, 2012 Hemophilia Society of Maldives celebrated the day with an outdoor gathering. Hemophilia is a genetic bleeding disorder that delays blood clotting, sometimes leading to severe complications. STO will support the society's efforts to grow awareness and seek better care for Maldivians with hemophilia.

Fuel Price Change (Diesel and Petrol)

Apr 5, 2012 STO has announced an immediate change in retail prices of diesel and petrol. Revised prices are Rf16.50/L (diesel) and Rf16.52/L (petrol) reflecting change in cost of recent shipments.

STO celebrates World Autism Day 2012

Apr 2, 2012 Staff celebrated the day by wearing blue to work and decorating their work spaces in the theme color of the day with balloons, hangers and awareness posters. The purpose is to create awareness, show support and encourage one another to help families living with autism.

GMIA renews fuel supply agreement with STO

Mar 20, 2012 STO has won the international bid to supply aviation fuel (Jet A-1) and marine gas oil (MGO) to Malé International Airport pvt ltd (GMIA) for the next year. The agreement was signed today in Hulhulé island.
