Fuel Price Reduction (Diesel and Petrol)
Jan 4, 2012 STO announces immediate reduction in the retail prices of diesel and petrol. This change results from the import duty waiver that came in to effect on 1st January and passes the cost savings directly on to the public. Revised prices of diesel and petrol are Rf15.03/L and Rf15.02/L respectively.

Clean Reef Campaign 2011
Jun 5, 2011 To mark the World Environment Day this year, STO holds a special event in association with DiveClub Maldives. A group of 30 people including divers cleaned the patch of the reef opposite Malé Local Market. A large amount of plastic and metal waste were extracted from the reef and moved to the the municipal waste yard. Get photos

STO Enters One-Year Fuel Supply Agreement with GMR Malé International Airport
Mar 10, 2011 State Trading Organization and GMR Malé International Airport today signed a 'procurement, supply and delivery' agreement for aviation fuel and marine gas oil. The one-year deal is valued at around USD 140 million.
